Firm Foundations Youth & Family Outreach: Women's & Girl's Wellness Pop-Up

Girl Chat will connect young high school girls and women with licensed counselors and psychologists who will provide them with resources and advice for their personal questions and concerns. They will also be guided through mindfulness and breathing exercises to help relieve stress & anxiety.

The women will walk away from the chat with an: 

  1. Increased awareness of their mental & emotional health.

  2. Various resources on how to reduce the negative stigma or unfamiliarity of mental health and counseling in the teen community.

  3. Knowledge on core issue(s) behind certain distresses they experience.

  4. Long-term tools that can be used to treat and heal.

  5. Connection to sisters and counselors who will encourage and support them on their journey.
